This is a painting I did in Doolin during the heavy snow of 2018.It is most unusual to have heavy snow in this part of the world but we had about a meter deep in March of that year, so I thought it would be appropriate to show this painting at Christmas.
In the foreground of the painting I have covered the rocks in snow , which they were , and in the background the Cliffs of Moher sneaking into the painting.
Children playing in the foreground add a touch of fun and I couldn’t resist taking artist’s licence and adding a holly bush.
Thank you so much to all my customers and supporters in what has been a very difficult year with the Covid 19 virus which ravaged the world, I really appreciate your investment in Art as do all artists.
I hope that you will enjoy my paintings for many years to come. Paintings are the gifts to yourselves or others that last a lifetime and much longer.
A very Happy and Healthy Christmas to all, and see you in 2021.
